Travel Shirt Folding Packs, Shirt Folders

When traveling, it’s hard to keep clothes from getting wrinkled in a suitcase or traveling backpack. This usually leads to having to bring an iron along and re ironing all of your clothes when you arrive at your destination.

Another problem with bringing shirts along is that you usually are limited to how many you can bring along. Bringing a lot of shirts at the same time can take up a considerable amount of space in your suitcase.

A lesser known travel solution is a shirt folder. These folders have flaps that are designed to protect and hold shirts. These folders can hold half a dozen or more dress shirts compactly to save space and at the same time keep your shirts wrinkle free.

Tips for folding:

1. button up the shirt completely, lay flat, then fold each shirt carefully to the width of the folder, fold the arms behind then fold in half or thirds
2. place first shirt on the bottom of the folder, most have a thick but flexible plastic sheet on the bottom
3. carefully place the second shirt upside down with the shirt collar opposite to the first
4. keep doing this until all six shirts are on top of each other
5. now carefully, (keeping the shirt tower from leaning) fold the flaps as tightly as possible after placing the plastic cover on top ( you may need to put some muscle into it

The Two Shirt Pack by SmartPack – This shirt holder is a stylish way to hold a few shirts. It has a black exterior made my nylon and is perfect from holding your shirts. It is a bit expensive with its $40 price tag.
